London Snow – Plane Trees, (2021)

This is a line of Plane trees in my local park in North London. It looked more like a procession in the snow which set off their magnificent forms that day.

30 cm pinch pot made from earthenware clay mixed with black Earthstone for a rich deep brown colour and for strength, painted with white slip and delicate sgraffito drawn line. The pot is clear glazed with gold lustre on the rim. Tin glaze wash on the the underside.

Shallow dish: 30cm diam x 6cm high
