Large Magnolia Bowl
Large Magnolia Bowl: Magnolia flowers are a new departure for me. They always present a welcome sight in Spring, especially in urban parks and gardens. Their generous, open forms and concentric structure lend themselves well to the bowl form.
Pinch pot decorated with Magnolia flowers in white slip and freely drawn sgraffito lines over a dark brown clay ground. It is clear glazed with gold lustre on the rim.
